Authentic Mexican food
Four days at Puente del Rey, Madrid Río, with agave and maize as the stars: food stalls, bars, music and culture, with Madrid’s best Mexican restaurants.
Authentically Mexican. Tortillas made from nixtamalised maize and 100% agave spirits with designation of origin: mezcal, tequila, raicilla, bacanora and sotol.
Madrid’s finest. The cooking comes from the city’s most successful Mexican restaurants, all awarded the Sello Copil: Mazûl, Regañadientes, Los Carnales, San Angelinn, Valletako, Trompo, La Única, Taquela, Puntarena and Barracuda.
Madrid’s Best Taco, Best Tostada and Best Cocktail
Sello Copil restaurants compete live in a show-cooking format on stage for the year’s awards. The competition begins on Saturday, the 10th, and the winner will be announced on Monday, the 12th, at the closing ceremony.
Zapopan comes to Madrid Río
Zapopan, in Jalisco, is this year’s guest city: four days to discover its food, its people and what’s happening today in one of Jalisco’s largest cities.
Run in Spanish, run Madrid Río
10K through Madrid Río, the race of the Spanish language. On Sunday the 11th at 10:00 we run for what’s ours, to close the weekend in style.
