Agave y Maíz Festival Mexicano

Madrid has become the European capital of Mexican cuisine, and no one had said it out loud. Agave y Maíz brings together for the first time the cuisines, spirits, and culture already present in the city, with the support of Casa de México in Spain and the Sello Copil contest. Three days in Madrid Río, as part of Hispanic Heritage Week.

Running is Spain’s most popular sport, and Spanish is the second most widely spoken native language in the world. There are races by city, by time, and for various causes, but none had ever claimed the language as its territory. Corre en Español was launched in Madrid as part of Hispanic Heritage Week to celebrate the language through running.
